What would you do if you had a universal basic income?

Society is changing and I'm feeling optimistic.

Inspired by the UBI Lab Network Survey I invite you to consider how a universal basic income of £1600 per month would impact your life. If you want to know what other people in your area think please check out the map in the survey.

As one of your constituents, I would like to draw your attention to the substantial public interest in a Universal Basic Income.

I believe a basic income for all could have significant positive impacts on local economies, communities and the well-being of the nation.

As the current Government proposes changes to the UK Tax System it feels like the right time to introduce a Universal Basic Income.

Findings from the current pilot in Ireland show recipients experienced a decrease in depression and anxiety, a higher life satisfaction and increased productivity.
